Getting Here

When arriving in the Fort Hamilton area, the base is located at one end of Brooklyn, New York. There are three major airports in the Fort Hamilton area including John F. Kennedy International, La Guardia, and Newark Liberty International. The base can be accessed by taxi or rental car. Bus service is provided by the Port Authority Bus Terminal which offers many bus routes from the main terminal. If arriving by car, take the Belt Parkway west to Exit 2 and make a right turn on 100 Street. Turn right on Fort Hamilton Parkway to the Main Gate. For those military traveling with their families, temporary lodging is provided by the Fort Hamilton Inn The Holiday Inn Express which is located at 107 Schum Avenue.
